I am a drummer and percussionist with over 30 years of experience.

I enjoy many music genres, but I mainly focus on rock, heavy metal, and pop, while occasionally playing salsa and boleros as well.

My favorite bands and artists include Rush, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Tool, Korn, Draco Rosa, OneRepublic, Alter Bridge, Thirty Seconds to Mars, AC/DC, Adrenaline Mob, Mammoth, James Bay, and James Arthur, among others.

I began my journey in drumming under the guidance of Pablo Bernal (drummer for Carlos Vives y la Provincia), and later I had the opportunity to learn from Dirk Verbeuren (drummer for Megadeth).

I love composing and producing, as well as performing live. In 2022, together with my wife—who is a singer—I launched our pop music project called Tiamat Apsu. In 2026, I released my solo rock project called Korp, in which I handled all the composition, performance, recording, and production in my own studio.

While the use of technology helps us grow as musicians, I believe that the involvement of real people behind the creative process is essential for music to have soul and truly convey emotion.
